Apollo is able to stand if he's holding onto something now, but he's not pulling up just yet - although I bet that's right around the corner!

 

And Orion was being a big ol baby today, so he had to take a nap in our bed with daddy...

After his bath, Orion always runs through the house screaming like a banshee and I caught him mid-run...

And we have started double-stuffing Apollo's diapers at night because he is wetting heavily overnight... but it gives him a super-fluffy butt!

Sitting in bed with mommy.  His hair is wild because he got dinner in it and daddy "washed" it. I have no clue how he hurt his lip! It doesn't seem to be bothering him though...

After bathtime, while daddy ran to get a diaper.  He was all wrapped up in the towel to begin with, but at least he stayed semi-covered - even though it's still warm outside.

Don't worry - that's not blood!  He got a hold of a semi-empty,  but mostly used up packet of raspberry drink mix.

 

And I didn't even realize how similar their shirts looked today!  Apollo is rocking his red Sunbaby 4.0 and his "Boss" shirt...

We're really starting to get some hair up top and you can kinda see it here.  Plus, Apollo is always grabbing for the camera, hence his thumb in the picture.

 

And I have no idea what this was about... I guess he was trying to pick both sides of his nose?

Orion fell asleep while watching TV

 

And Apollo fell asleep while bouncing away in his Jumperoo.  This picture was taken at the same time as Orion's... guess it was bedtime afterall.

Orion got to ring the bell for the Salvation Army after donating his very own fifty cents.

 

And Apollo was all smiles in the stroller after he finished his midday meal.

 Apollo is just chilling out in the Pack and Play while rocking his skull diaper. 

 

Orion not only snagged mommy's shoes, but also daddy's harmonica and he made quite a sight.

Still looking a bit blond here, but his eyes are definitely brown, although they may end up being hazel as they sometimes look greenish.

 

Orion is learning to play baseball.  He's catching on pretty quick and can already hit a ball tossed at him.

Apollo is really good at sitting up now.  For some reason, he wouldn't let go of my finger though.

We got our fluff in the mail on daddy's birthday today, so we had to test them out.  Here's Orion wearing a Graffiti print Sunbaby 4.0... he really seemed to love it right away.

Another picture of Orion playing video games - this time it was The Simpsons Hit and Run.  I am not sure why he was only wearing one shoe that absolutely did not match, but he probably put it on himself.  He is getting very independent that way.

 

And tonight, Apollo got to sit at the table with Poppa.  You see that napkin in front of him?  It's got a bunch of little pieces of baked potato on it, so this was Apollo's first meal with the rest of the family.  He wasn't too impressed with it and didn't really chew much, but it was a start.

It was reading time in the Wright household tonight.  This is how Apollo reads... he has to DIGEST the information. 

 

And I was asking Orion to find the bear in his board book, and he kept pointing him out and going "Beh" which I think is 'bear.'

Daddy and Apollo lounging around in bed after hours, before bedtime.  Like father, like son. 

 

Orion at bathtime.  He looks super-chubby here, but he's actually slimming up.  He's 36 inches tall and 33.5 pounds.

Day 106 of 365 Photo Challenge

Apollo is doing really well with sitting up.  There's still some times when he needs help to stay up and some times he'll still fold in half and snack on a toe, but he's generally doing it on his own... and at 5 months!  I'm so proud of him.

 

Orion loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and it's on in our house every morning, whether he's actively watching it or not, which he usually isn't.  He's usually running around and screaming like a banshee in the mornings.

Orion is getting the hang of his tricycle.  We skipped right from the rocking attachment to full-on trike - no stroller pushbar allowed as he wouldn't have it.  he wanted to go on this thing as soon as he could.  We're still working on pedaling and riding in the grass or street, not the deck, but he's so grown up for such a little guy.

 

Speaking of growing up, Apollo is already holding his bottle through the whole feeding now.  It's a bit of a relief since he don't have to hold him to feed him now and that allows us to do other things while he eats.

I don't know what the look was about here as he wasn't stinky.  But I thought it was too funny to pass up!

 

And my first truly completed cloth diapering project in action.  This is a cover for his cloth trainers and I made Apollo one that matches as well, even though it didn't turn out quite as good. And yes, Orion is climbing all over the clean laundry.

Apollo has been practicing sitting for about a week now.  He's getting pretty good and doesn't immediately topple over, but he hasn't mastered it yet - and look at all that drool.  We are teething too...

 

We promised Orion a trip to the park and today was beautiful out, so we made good on that promise today.  He is getting so good at climbing and less afraid of the playground equipment.  Of course, he still loves the old standby of the spring-loaded airplane or two.

We were all outside on the deck playing when Orion's eyes got big, he grabbed himself and said "Oh...uh oh..."  So his daddy ran him inside and he peed on the potty like an old pro - he even read a book while doing so!

 

And as a lot of Apollo's pictures have been lately, he's in our bed yet again.  Kiddo loves to cuddle at night before bedtime and what can I say?  I indulge him most of the time...

We went to the mall today and let the boys play a bit.  Apollo decided to fly to the moon.

 

And Orion decided to fly for real.  He's done this before, but for some reason, he was really apprehensive today and seemed pretty scared when it got started.  Then I took over from the lady who was running it and helped him out a bit to where he would let daddy help so mommy could take pictures. Sometimes I forget that my big boy is still a baby...

Here is Or- er, I mean Apollo!  He looks SO much like his brother here that it's uncanny. The only REAL telling difference is the color of their eyes... I mean, I can tell them apart, but Orion keeps pointing to pictures of himself when he was little saying 'bubba.'

 

Speaking of Orion, he's having a superhero week.  These Spiderman PJs were passed down to him and he wasn't really sure what to think of the webs to begin with, but he likes them now.
