It has been raining nonstop for a while now and Orion is going stir-crazy. Between the heat and the rain, poor thing rarely gets to play outside. So I decided to just let him go for it. We put on a swim diaper and his swim shoes and went outside in the rain and I let him splash around through the puddles outside. He had fun for a bit, but when the mud started getting swirled up, he started going "Ew, ew, ew..." All in all, I think it was a fun time for him.
Apollo laid in bed with us for almost two hours, cooing and laughing, a little fussing, but his eyes lit up when we brought out THIS. This ball was Orion's favorite when he was little, maybe a little older than Apollo. We put it away when O was about 9 months old because I could no longer stand to hear it go off because the ball has ADD and stops in the middle of a song and starts a new one. We'll see how long until it frustrates me right out the door this time. Here's the ball, and the kid, in action:
