It has been uber-hot lately and Orion has about exhausted his patience bouncing back and forth between Mimi's house and our house and his toys are starting to lose his attention faster, so I've been looking for things to amuse him that aren't going to break the bank. We've done NAS quite a bit lately, so I started researching indoor playgrounds because I just can't stay outside very long before I'm soaked through with sweat and worn out for the day. I found one in Pace, FL which is $5 for unlimited play per day. It's open 9AM-1PM, so we gave it a try. It reminded me a lot of a daycare playroom with the exception of the huge swinging rope, inflatable baby bouncer and two big inflatable playthings - one was an obstacle course and one was a football arena jumper. Orion loved his 2 1/2 hours there and kept going back to this little fold-up playhouse. Good thing that I have it on good authority that Mr. Claus is bringing him one for Christmas - as long as he's a good boy...
Apollo had to get in on the action too! He found this rope pretty much less than amusing, but it turned out to be a uber-cute picture because he wrapped his little legs and arms around it, so Alex just held him there. He is, however, a big fan of rocking, so we laid him down in one of the gymnastics toys and rocked him in it for a while.
