Day 8 of 365 Photo Challenge

Orion can be a really messy eater... who am I kidding?  We're lucky whe he ISN'T a messy eater.  Now, he's always done well with straw cups and that's always kinda been his thing, so we went with it.  If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it, right?  Well... the straws keep going missing for the cups and I was tired of rigging the cups with disposable straws stuffed into the parts of the real straws that we have left, so we're trying new cups with hard spouts.  It almost seems like a regression, but it really is a step forward for him on the way to using a regular cup - if he would just quit pulling the lids off... because this is what happens when he does. Yes, that's milk all over his dinner.

And meanwhile, Apollo was in the living room, just napping away, peaceful as can be and really looking like the good child.  He woke up shortly after this and screamed at us that it was his dinnertime, so it was short-lived, but well-appreciated while it lasted.
